Jamie Ragusa
Actor – SAG-AFTRA
Born in rural Central PA, Jamie's first love of the arts was dance.
She has a BA in Dance and MA in Communications from Point Park University. After a few years dancing professionally, Jamie switched careers to marketing due to a back injury. However, eventually she missed being artistically creative, and took an acting class. She immediately was hooked and hasn't looked back since. Jamie has mostly worked in independent film and TV. She has completed a 2 year conservatory at Maggie Flanigan Studio under Charlie Sandlan, Lee Strasberg Institute, and with Caroline Thomas.
Most recently, she played a leading role in indie feature, "Hundo" and supporting role in short film, "Catharsis." Both films will be circulating throughout various film festivals in 2021. For her past work in short film, "The Rest of My Life," Jamie received 'Best Actress' wins at 2019 Long Island Interantional Film Festivals, and Cutting Room Interantional Film Festival. She hopes doing what she is passionate about inspires her kids to do the same.
